Members of the Nevada Faculty Alliance are effectively represented by one of their own in the course of executive and legislative branch decision-making. The conference maintains one position on its State Board for a faculty member to serve as our liaison with the State of Nevada Government. In Nevada, these governmental liaison and lobbying activities are a continuing need that requires keeping in constant touch with the Chancellor's office, the eight campus presidents, and the eight campuses’ NFA chapters so that information may be developed, unexpected problems can be resolved, and Nevada's higher education faculty can be informed
